Hello World
Maurice Webb, Software Developer, Graphic Designer, Content Creator
My name is Maurice Webb, and I am a web development enthusiast with experience developing software for banks, universities, and mid-sized corporations. My background in fin-tech, visual design, and teaching has weaved an aspiration as a content creator to inspire and instruct people to code. Fueled by passion for understanding the nuances of web development, I consider myself a “lifetime learner.” Through continued studies and professional development, I build upon my academic foundations in computer science and graphic arts by staying current with modern tech trends and best practices, documentation updates, and the cutting edge in web technologies.
My hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information and ideas into accessible, functional web applications has contributed to my most recent success at the University of Richmond. There, I completed an intensive 24-week long boot camp dedicated to designing and building web applications. Upon graduation, I received multiple job offers in full stack web development and accepted a position that enabled me to reboot my career and change my life.
Web of Webb is my semi-anonymous content creator alias deployed for open sourcing my journey through web development and sharing experiences, acquired knowledge, advice, opinions, and encouragement.
I am currently working as a software developer by day and a coding instructor by night, always looking for a chance to code something in between. Reach out to webofwebb@gmail.com to connect ideas and opportunities!
